Frequently Asked Questions

Are the HD Metal Prints printed with die sublimation or direct print?

Your painting will be heat infused into a sheet of Chromaluxe® aluminum using the die sublimation process, which is vastly superior to direct printing on aluminum.

What is the difference between Glossy and Matte and which should I choose?

Glossy is the most popular because the shiny surface enhances the image, thereby making it look more sharp and vivid. However, if you will be displaying your image in direct light where the glare of the gloss is not preferred, we recommend you select the matte finish.

Will my HD Metal print fade when exposed to light?

Chromaluxe® aluminum metal prints are long-lasting prints due to the inks bonding with the metal during the printing process. Xenon Light Stability Testing has shown HD Metal Prints last anywhere from 2-4 times longer than traditional photo based silver papers.

What are the different types of prints available?

Paintings are printed on Chromaluxe® aluminum (HD Metal), Giclee Canvas or Metallic Canvas. All prints are very high quality archival inks. Technology has made great advances over the last few years with quality and capabilities. You can feel confident your print will last a lifetime if it is well cared for.
